[Remote] Sales Operations & Performance Lead
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Uncommon Business is hiring a Sales Operations & Performance Lead to build the engine behind their growing sales team. This role focuses on creating playbooks, systems, and ensuring the reliability of sales tools to enhance team performance.
Responsibilities
- Turning a leadership call or brain dump into a clean playbook the team is running on by Friday
- Rebuilding onboarding so new reps ramp on a system, not on the Director's calendar
- Owning the reliability of the tools reps sell on — CRM, dashboards, scoreboard — so nobody loses a sale to broken tech
- Mapping attribution across every product so every dollar of revenue is tracked, no guessing
- Scoping small AI tools, partnering with Build on the heavy lifting, and shipping the lighter pieces yourself

- You've been close enough to sales to understand the motion and why the KPIs move — you don't need years of quota-carrying, but you can't be a stranger to a sales floor
- You're a builder and project manager at heart — messy input in, clean systems out
- AI is your instinct, not your assignment — you reach for it to compress slow work and pick up new tools the week they drop
- You stay calm and self-directed when not every answer exists yet
- You care that the team performs, not that you get the credit
