[Remote] SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE I

The Sales Development Representative I plays a critical role in driving customer engagement and supporting sales execution through various administrative and technical sales support activities.
Responsibilities
- Support Sales and Field teams with administrative coordination and project follow-up activities
- Input and manage Customer Price Requests (CPRs) and provide training to internal teams and manufacturer representatives on related processes
- Cross-reference customer and competitor parts to TE Connectivity products
- Proactively follow up with planners and customers to support order status and expedite requests
- Investigate and resolve part deviations, routing issues, and inquiries by directing to the appropriate TE contact
- Maintain and update Salesforce (SF) opportunities, including outreach and lead follow-up from conferences and events
- Coordinate recurring meetings (e.g., weekly SalesForce/project alignment calls) and track key action items
- Support IRR activities by identifying and qualifying project opportunities, partnering with Sales for approval
- Create and manage Demand Qualified Leads (DQLs) when no IRR activity exists
- Assist with onboarding and training of new hires and manufacturer representatives
- Participate in representative management activities, including quarterly performance calls
- Serve as a point of contact for customer and representative inquiries, including coverage during out-of-office periods
Skills
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to cross-reference components and interpret product data
- Experience working with SAP (required), including: Extracting component lists, data sheets, test reports, and shipment/backlog reports
- Understanding SAP block codes and order statuses
- Experience with Salesforce (SFDC) or a comparable CRM platform
- Ability to analyze and extract data, including project and customer insights
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills with attention to detail
- Ability to train and present processes effectively via video conference
- Experience supporting sales teams in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable engaging with customers in-person and over the phone
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
- Must be able to support field sales operations and maintain high responsiveness
- TE-issued mobile phone required for business use
