The Run Engineer Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of applications and data integrations, collaborating with teams to enhance business operations and customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Deliver reliable, high-performing applications and data integrations that support critical business operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, maintain, and support applications, integrations, and reporting solutions
- Analyze business processes, requests, system problems, and optimization opportunities; troubleshoot application and data issues; and develop technical specifications and solutions that improve system performance, user experience, and operational efficiency
- Support reporting needs using BI tools and identify opportunities to streamline workflows through automation
Skills
- Bachelor's degree; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate and 4 years of experience in programming analysis, software engineering or software development reflecting increasing levels of responsibility
- Skilled in the use of MS Word and MS Excel at an intermediate level
- May be asked to provide on call support for a window of time. When this occurs, all on call time will be compensated in accordance with federal and state law
- Possesses a working knowledge of development toolset, development processes, and Quality Assurance methodologies
- Knowledgeable of network management, service management, ITIL, SLA's and outsourcing
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description
- Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, MIS, Mathematics, Systems Engineering, or Data Sciences plus experience in programming analysis, software engineering or software development reflecting increasing levels of responsibility
- Demonstrates a high level of programming proficiency and strong initiative, self-motivation, and commitment to the job
- Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present information and collaborate effectively across teams
