[Remote] Research Data Analyst II - MaineHealth Institute for Research
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. MaineHealth is seeking a Research Data Analyst II to join their analytics team at the MaineHealth Institute for Research. This role involves providing analytic support for a variety of research projects in clinical and population health, including data management and statistical analyses.
Responsibilities
- Provide qualitative, quantitative, and/or mixed-methods analytic support to faculty scientists and clinical investigators
- Support a diverse portfolio of research and evaluation projects
- Responsible for data management, data cleaning, descriptive and inferential statistical analyses, and preparation of analytic results
- Work directly with investigators to understand project goals, develop analytic approaches, interpret findings, and communicate results in written and verbal formats
- Independently perform analyses using methodologies consistent with established policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and best practices in research
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
Skills
- Bachelor's degree required
- Three years of experience analyzing data required, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Research Data Analyst I role
- Master's degree preferred
- Proficiency in R/Posit statistical software is preferred, as most analyses within the department are conducted using R/Posit
