They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Recruiter to manage full-cycle recruitment across various levels and roles, particularly within the legal sector, while collaborating with hiring managers to align hiring strategies with the firm's goals.

Responsibilities

  • Involved in full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates for all levels of employees
  • Develop and implement innovative recruiting strategies to attract top legal talent across multiple states
  • Develop, track and analyze recruiting metrics to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make data-driven improvements and recommendations
  • Partner with firm leadership and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create job descriptions that align with firm goals
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline of qualified legal professionals through networking, referrals, job postings, and industry events
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely communication and guidance throughout the hiring process
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings and coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers
  • Negotiate job offers, including compensation and benefits, in alignment with firm policies
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with HR and leadership to enhance employer branding and market the firm as an employer of choice
  • Stay informed of industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitive hiring practices

Skills

  • 4+ years of experience in recruiting
  • Legal recruitment experience, either in a law firm or legal staffing agency is a plus
  • Strong understanding of the legal industry, attorney hiring trends, and employment law
  • Proven ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously across different locations
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail
  • Experience recruiting in multiple states with an understanding of regional hiring nuances
  • Strong network within the legal industry
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar HR certification is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field a plus
