[Remote] Project Manager \/ Inside Sales Manager

ESP PROSEARCH is a fast-growing organization transforming the commercial energy and lighting industry through innovative project delivery and service-based solutions. They are seeking a Commercial Project Manager to support the sales organization by driving pipeline visibility, sales process execution, CRM accuracy, and cross-functional coordination.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary operational partner for the outside sales team, ensuring opportunities progress through each stage of the sales pipeline
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline reports, opportunity status, and sales documentation
- Track deals from initial prospect engagement through quoting, internal approvals, contract preparation, legal review, execution, and project handoff
- Coordinate with Sales, Finance, Operations, Legal, and executive stakeholders to ensure timely completion of deliverables
- Identify missing information, follow up with stakeholders, and keep action items moving to prevent stalled opportunities
- Monitor quote-to-contract workflows and ensure required documentation is complete before advancing deals
- Provide regular pipeline reporting, sales forecasts, and deal status updates to leadership
- Improve sales operations by identifying workflow inefficiencies and recommending scalable process improvements
- Foster accountability across cross-functional teams while maintaining strong communication and operational discipline
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Sales Operations, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 3+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, Project Management, CRM Administration, or Inside Sales Support
- Strong understanding of commercial sales processes, including pipeline management, proposals, contract coordination, and project handoffs
- Experience maintaining CRM systems such as Salesforce or similar platforms
- Excellent organizational, follow-up, and stakeholder management skills with the confidence to hold teams accountable for deliverables
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently in a remote environment
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and process improvement skills
- Experience supporting project-based sales environments such as energy, lighting, construction, engineering, infrastructure, manufacturing, ESCO, or building technologies is highly preferred
