[Remote] Project Manager I

The Project Manager I will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget while gaining hands-on experience in the field.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with senior project management and engineering teams
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment to project sites
- Review project specifications, drawings, and contract documents to ensure alignment with project requirements
- Support the management and coordination of construction activities on-site, including subcontractor work, equipment installations, and material handling
- Assist in monitoring progress against project schedules and budgets and provide regular updates to senior project management staff
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure work is being performed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and change orders
- Prepare and distribute reports to senior project management and stakeholders to provide updates on project status, milestones, and issues
- Assist in tracking project expenses, costs, and variances against budgeted amounts
- Serve as a primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Communicate effectively with project management and stakeholders to address project issues, concerns, and changes in a timely manner
- Assist in facilitating regular project meetings and conference calls to ensure alignment and coordination among project teams
- Identify potential risks, issues, and challenges that may impact project delivery, and work with senior project management to develop mitigation strategies
- Assist in resolving project-related issues, conflicts, and disputes in a timely and professional manner to minimize project delays and disruptions
- Implement corrective actions and follow-up measures to address project issues and prevent reoccurrence
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction project management or related field
- Basic understanding of construction methods, techniques, and terminology
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel to project sites and work flexible hours as needed
