[Remote] Production Artist/Graphic Designer [211119]

They are seeking a highly skilled Production Artist/Graphic Designer to create and refine marketing materials, ensuring alignment with brand standards and contributing to impactful campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Create precise layouts for a diverse range of print and digital marketing collateral, including guides, mailers, postcards, digital posters, web banners, and emails
- Develop and maintain robust design systems to ensure efficient, consistent, and repeatable designs, especially for long-form content
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Design and Senior Designers to meet project timelines and deliver high-quality work
- Partner with Copywriters, Copy Editors, and Account Managers to implement changes and updates to materials as needed
- Execute edits and updates based on stakeholder feedback, ensuring accuracy and consistency across multiple versions of a single piece
- Apply fundamental principles of good layout design, including typography, color theory, and information hierarchies
- Adhere to best practices for digital accessibility in all design outputs
- Maintain rigorous quality control standards for all produced materials
- Contribute to the conceptualization phase of design projects when opportunities arise
Skills
- Be authorized to work in the United States
- Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment
- Be able to work on a W-2 basis. C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position
- Be able to work Eastern Time Zone Hours
- Be able to showcase your work through case studies and/or portfolio
- High-level proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, with expert-level skills in InDesign and Illustrator
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
- Strong technical approach to layouts and meticulous preparation of files for production
- In-depth understanding of design software and efficient workflow practices
- Proven experience in building and maintaining design systems, with a keen eye for typography
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency in preparing print materials for final release to print vendors
- Willingness to be flexible and adapt to quickly changing priorities
- A balanced blend of creative thinking and technical acumen
- A quick learner when it comes to new platforms, systems, and processes
- A collaborative approach to working effectively with project managers, proofreaders, designers, and writers
- Experience with Workfront
- Experience with Figma
