[Remote] Principal Project Engineer - Hardware

They are seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer to plan, coordinate, and execute engineering projects focused on embedded systems and space electronics, ensuring quality and timely delivery of project goals.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines
- Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and senior management
- Ensure process and quality compliance through the development lifecycle
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project success
- Be a servant-leader to the team, removing blockers and fostering collaboration
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
- Monitor KPIs and adjust plans to meet performance targets
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process optimization
- Ability to support travel or off-site work, as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering (or related technical field) and 9 years of related experience, OR 7 years of related experience with a Master's degree
- 4+ years of experience in project engineering or project management
- Working knowledge of PCB design, hardware bring-up, and electronics manufacturing processes
- Working knowledge of engineering principles and project lifecycle management
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD)
- PMP or PE certification
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
- Experience delivering space qualified products
