[Remote] Principal Product Manager

They are seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the developer experience and growth for Twilio’s RCS and SMS products, guiding the platform through its evolution and defining the next chapter of customer engagement.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for Twilio’s SMS and RCS APIs, driving innovation while simplifying the developer experience
- Lead the evolution of our messaging platform, including launching new cross-channel APIs and evolving our legacy APIs at global scale
- Work backwards from developers and enterprises to design intuitive, consistent APIs that power billions of customer interactions
- Gather market intelligence, analyze usage patterns, and synthesize insights from prototypes to innovate
- Partner closely with engineering, design, GTM, and partner teams to scope, build, and launch capabilities
- Drive experimentation through betas and A/B tests, iterating quickly to achieve product–market fit for emerging conversational experiences
- Use data and metrics to identify growth opportunities, performance gaps, and areas to improve reliability
- Mentor and influence teams across the org, championing a developer-first culture in a distributed, remote-first environment
Skills
- 5+ years (7+ preferred) experience in product management
- Proven ability to work backwards from customer needs, crystallizing problems that translate into impactful product decisions
- Strong understanding of how B2B and large enterprises operate, including sales cycles and organizational dynamics
- Technical skills: experience in APIs or platform products, including designing for reliability, scale, and developer usability
- Soft Skills: Highly collaborative and excel in building cross-functional relationships in remote, global teams; able to mentor, inspire, and set vision for high-impact initiatives
- Entrepreneurial: Scrappy and resourceful, comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done and drive impact
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience building and scaling products or businesses, driving both zero-to-one innovation and high growth
- Advanced degree: MBA or Master's in CS or related discipline
