[Remote] Pharmacy Data Analyst II
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Lockton is seeking a Pharmacy Data Analyst II to support their Pharmacy Benefit analytics team. The role involves assisting with client Request for Proposals, conducting financial analysis, and managing data related to Pharmacy Analytics.
Responsibilities
- Provide pharmacy prospect diagnostics including comprehensive pricing and contract analysis for producers and team leads
- Assist with releasing pharmacy Request for Proposal to market
- Conduct comparative pricing analyses for pharmacy benefit Requests for Proposal
- Collaborate with internal account teams and vendors to create financial analysis
- Assist with pharmacy financial performance reconciliation, analysis, and audits
- Run ad hoc report queries including detailed analysis and insight
- Support the ongoing Lockton pharmacy data collection and reporting initiatives
- Assist in the prospect pharmacy data collection process; analyze pharmacy claims data and provide detailed pricing and contract savings analysis
- Understand data sources, processes, formulas and output
- Prepare standard and ad hoc pharmacy reports and presentations for pharmacy consulting team to present to clients
- Collaboratively analyze client data to identify areas of concern and recommendations for strategies to manage pharmacy spend
- Continuous quality improvement on processes, policies, and reporting to improve efficiency and innovation
- Maintains a high level of professionalism and sense of urgency to ensure client and account team expectations are consistently met
- Assists Level I analysts with training
- Helps document processes and identifies areas of improvement
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested
Skills
- Relevant industry knowledge of Pharmacy Analytics coverage's and services
- Basic understanding of Pharmacy financial concepts including Discounts, Rebates, Fees and Cost plus
- Must have strong internal and external customer service skills, along with the ability to develop sound internal client relationships
- Demonstrates the ability to instill confidence and comfort with clients and representatives
- Must have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to interact with associates at all levels of responsibility, along with the ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy
- Demonstrates professional, tactful negotiation and persuasion skills to achieve objectives
- Organizational and time management skills to prioritize workload and meet deadlines required. Must be results oriented with the ability to change priorities as needed

- Ability to interpret and implement company and state policies and processes
- Ability to grasp new and complex concepts
- Minimum 2 – 4 years of experience in a data analysis role
- 3+ years of Pharmacy industry experience
- Legal right to work in the United States
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred) not a requirement
- MS Access and SQL experience desired
