[Remote] People Operations Generalist
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Suvoda is seeking a People Operations Specialist to join their growing HR team. In this role, you will support various HR functions such as benefits administration, onboarding, and compliance while looking for ways to improve and automate HR processes.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a knowledgeable first point of contact for employee questions on HR policies, procedures, and benefits
- Help ensure our HR practices and policies stay aligned with applicable employment and benefits laws and regulations
- Complete daily Workday tasks in support of the People Ops team; process employment changes, run audits, and keep our system of record clean and current
- Proactively identify opportunities to streamline and improve HR processes, whether through automation, better workflows, or smarter use of our tools
- Own the new hire onboarding experience end-to-end, scheduling and facilitating orientation meetings, preparing paperwork, coordinating with L&D on training, and supporting benefits enrollment
- Support the administration of our benefits programs, health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies, and serve as a go-to resource for employee benefits questions year-round
- Create, review, and standardize internal HR policies to ensure they're clear, current, and consistently applied
- Execute the operational tasks that keep our HR programs running: benefits, leave, and more, with accuracy, care, and the ability to manage your work independently
- Additional responsibilities as the team and business evolve
Skills
- 2–5 years of HR generalist experience
- Strong organizational skills

- Experience using AI tools or building automations in HR workflows
- Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field
- Workday experience (or comparable HRIS)
- Benefits administration background, familiarity with health and welfare plans, open enrollment cycles, and communicating benefits to employees
