Remote Payroll and HR Assistant – Online Job Opportunity

Job Summary reputed company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Remote Payroll and HR Assistant to support our Human Resources and Payroll departments. This fully remote role is ideal for someone who excels in administrative tasks, understands payroll processes, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate employee records, assisting with payroll processing, and supporting day-to-day HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • * Assist with accurate and timely payroll processing, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws.
  • * Maintain and update employee records in HR systems.
  • * Provide support in onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and orientation.
  • * Assist with benefits administration and employee inquiries.
  • * Help prepare HR documents, reports, and compliance documentation.
  • * Track attendance, time-off requests, and leave balances.
  • * Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews.
  • * Support various HR initiatives, including employee engagement and training coordination.
  • * Manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications
  • * Proven ability to handle administrative and payroll-reputed company tasks.
  • * High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • * Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • * Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • * Proficiency in reputed company Office Suite (especially reputed company) and HRIS systems.
  • * Reliable internet reputed company and home office setup.
  • * Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Experience
  • * At least 1-2 years of experience in payroll, HR support, or administrative roles is preferred.
  • * Experience with remote work environments and HR software is a plus.
  • Working Hours
  • * Full-time | 40 hours per week
  • * Flexible schedule with core availability during 9 AM – 3 PM (CST) to coordinate with the central team.
  • * Occasional extended hours during payroll processing cycles or HR campaigns.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • * Knowledge of basic payroll principles, HR best practices, and relevant labor laws.
  • * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual team setting.
  • * Adaptability to shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • * Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • * Exceptional customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
