[Remote] PACS Project Manager – Change PACS
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Lorven Technologies Inc. is seeking an experienced PACS Project Manager to lead and coordinate PACS upgrade initiatives across their healthcare network. The ideal candidate will have expertise in PACS upgrades and change management, focusing on ensuring minimal disruption to clinical operations while managing stakeholder engagement and technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and oversee PACS upgrade projects, ensuring minimal disruption to clinical operations
- Engage stakeholders (Radiology, IT, Vendor, Clinical End Users) to gather requirements and communicate project milestones
- Work closely with technical teams to manage system configurations, data migrations, and integrations with RIS, EMR, and VNA
- Coordinate and validate change and merge processes for patient and study records, ensuring data integrity and compliance
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, risk assessments, and change control logs
- Provide training and support to end-users on upgraded PACS features, focusing on change/merge workflows
- Troubleshoot post-upgrade issues and coordinate resolution with vendors and internal teams
- Ensure adherence to regulatory, security, and privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA)
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Health Informatics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of experience managing PACS projects, including upgrades or migrations
- Experience with PACS change OR merge functionalities (e.g., patient/study merge/unmerge) – Not Mandatory, But good to Have
- Strong project management skills; PMP or similar certification is a plus
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management abilities
- Familiarity with clinical imaging workflows and regulatory standards
- Experience in a multi-site healthcare environment
