[Remote] Outside Sales Representative – Industrial Automation
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ELKO EP North America is the fast-growing North American branch of a European manufacturing powerhouse specializing in industrial automation. The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for aggressive market acquisition, prospecting new business, and building relationships with OEMs and distributors.
Responsibilities
- Hunt for New Business: Actively prospect and close new accounts
- Hit the Road: Travel extensively (up to 75%) within your territory for face-to-face customer visits, product demos, and relationship building
- Expand the Network: Build out a robust pipeline of OEMs, panel builders, and distribution partners
- Own the Territory: Operate with high autonomy to identify opportunities, negotiate deals, and drive revenue
- Be the Face of the Brand: Represent ELKO EP North America at major industry trade shows and events
Skills
- 2 to 5 years of proven B2B field sales experience
- Solid, working understanding of industrial automation, electrical components, relays, or switchgear
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Highly self-motivated and proactive
- Comfortable spending the majority of your week in the field rather than behind a screen
- Ability to actively prospect and close new accounts
- Ability to travel extensively (up to 75%) within your territory for face-to-face customer visits, product demos, and relationship building
- Ability to operate with high autonomy to identify opportunities, negotiate deals, and drive revenue
