[Remote] Oracle ERP Integration Consultant (Oracle R12/Fusion)

Piper Companies is seeking an Oracle ERP Integration Consultant (Oracle R12/Fusion) to support a leading enterprise organization's Oracle ERP modernization initiatives. The role involves integrating Oracle R12 and Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP with external tax engines and electronic invoicing solutions, focusing on delivering scalable integration solutions and troubleshooting complex issues.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support integrations between Oracle E-Business Suite R12, Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, and external tax engines
- Lead Oracle R12 to Oracle Fusion integration efforts supporting enterprise financial systems
- Configure and optimize Oracle integration connectors and middleware components
- Support Electronic Invoicing (e-Invoicing/OEI) implementations and enhancements
- Integrate Oracle ERP environments with third-party tax engines including Vertex, Taxware, Avalara, or similar platforms
- Troubleshoot complex Oracle ERP integration issues across Oracle R12, Fusion, and external applications
- Collaborate with Finance, Tax, and ERP teams to gather business requirements and implement scalable solutions
- Document integration architecture, technical designs, and implementation best practices
- Evaluate new Oracle Fusion capabilities and recommend process improvements
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Oracle ERP integrations and tax technology solutions
- Assist with knowledge transfer and help build internal Oracle integration capabilities
Skills
- 7+ years of Oracle ERP consulting or Oracle Applications experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12
- Experience implementing and supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP
- Proven experience integrating Oracle R12 with Oracle Fusion
- Experience integrating Oracle ERP platforms with external tax engines
- Experience supporting Electronic Invoicing (e-Invoicing/OEI) solutions
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle SOA Suite, or related Oracle integration technologies
- Strong understanding of Oracle Financials, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Order Management processes
- Experience troubleshooting Oracle ERP integrations and connector configurations
- Excellent communication and client-facing consulting skills
- Ability to quickly learn new Oracle connectors and integration technologies
- Experience with Vertex, Taxware, Avalara, or other enterprise tax engines
- Experience implementing Oracle Electronic Invoicing (OEI)
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Oracle Fusion Cloud certifications
- Experience supporting global tax compliance and indirect tax solutions
- Previous consulting experience supporting large enterprise ERP transformations
