[Remote] Operations & Supply Chain Lead

They are seeking an Operations & Supply Chain Lead to oversee day-to-day operations, manage a small team, and coordinate with manufacturing and logistics partners to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support a small, high-performing and committed operations team
- Coordinate production planning with manufacturing partners
- Manage warehousing, inventory, logistics and fulfilment activities
- Plan deliveries, installations and field support
- Build strong relationships with suppliers, freight providers and manufacturing partners
- Identify smarter, scalable ways of working as Nook continues to grow
- Roll up your sleeves when needed—this is a hands-on leadership role
- Champion an operational culture that puts the customer first
Skills
- Experience in operations, supply chain, manufacturing or logistics within the commercial furniture industry or a closely related sector
- Experience leading or supervising operational teams
- A practical mindset with the confidence to make decisions and solve problems
- Strong planning, organisational and communication skills
- The ability to build productive relationships with colleagues, suppliers and customers
- A genuine commitment to delivering the right outcome for every customer
- Residence within easy travelling distance of West Chicago, Illinois
- Willingness to travel approximately 5–10%
