[Remote] Operations Staff Attorney
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Lisinski Law Firm is a dedicated humanitarian immigration practice committed to supporting individuals and families seeking safety and stability. The Staff Attorney will review immigration applications, perform legal research, and assist senior attorneys while being motivated to help clients stay united with their families.
Responsibilities
- Review draft immigration applications pursuant to instructions from Senior Attorneys
- Identify, track, and make necessary edits prior to submission
- Clearly communicate to other team members regarding edits
- Meet daily goals on reviewing cases
- Perform legal research on immigration law topics
Skills
- The candidate should have a J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school and be an active member in good standing of a state bar
- Ability to follow detailed directions
- Support mission of helping people currently living in America obtain their documents and stay together with their family
- Computer skills (Typing - MS Word and MS Excel, Document Management-DropBox, Email - MS Outlook)
- Experience using a case management software system preferred
- Interest in immigration law preferred
