[Remote] Offshore Safety Medic- USA - Continuous opening

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. RMI Global Solutions is seeking a Safety Medic who will act as both a QHSE advisor and medic in the field. The role involves providing urgent medical care, managing QHSE aspects of projects, and promoting safety awareness among crews.

Responsibilities

• Deliver urgent and emergency medical care and maintain accurate electronic health records
• Ensure readiness of medical facilities, equipment, and supplies; perform routine maintenance checks
• Manage medical emergencies, stabilise patients, and coordinate evacuations in line with MERP and RHCP guidelines
• Conduct health screenings, drug and alcohol testing, and workforce medical inductions
• Promote health and hygiene programs and provide first-aid training and emergency drills
• Serve as the primary on-site contact for client EHS and QHSE matters; advise on compliance and industry standards
• Monitor QHSE performance, support investigations, and assist with training and safety programs
• Maintain professional certifications and comply with all client and statutory requirements
• Other duties as required

Skills

• Applicants must have the right to work in the US without sponsorship
• Minimum 2 years as a licensed paramedic, nurse, advanced practitioner, or physician
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems
• English fluency and ability to pass Fit-to-Work assessments
• Valid medical license and advanced life support certifications (ALS, ACLS, BLS, PHTLS)
• At least one recognised HSE certification
• Offshore safety training (BOSIET, HUET) and other project-specific certifications as required
• Experience in remote healthcare; oil & gas or industrial operations preferred
