[Remote] National Account Sales Director (Industrial)

Gallo Mechanical is a premier mechanical construction and service provider headquartered in New Orleans, and they are seeking a National Account Sales Director to manage and grow a portfolio of industrial service accounts. This strategic role focuses on long-term customer partnerships, service agreement growth, and enhancing account profitability.
Responsibilities
- Own and grow a portfolio of industrial service accounts
- Drive service agreement expansion, multi-year commitments, and additional locations
- Lead contract negotiation, renewals and customer value reviews
- Identify system upgrades, modernization projects, and lifecycle opportunities
- Build relationships with key decision-makers
- Develop annual account plans and long-term growth strategies
- Use service history and equipment data to guide customer recommendations
- Partner with operations teams to ensure execution aligns with commitments
Skills
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% as required
- 3–5+ years of experience selling and managing strategic accounts within a defined industry vertical (Industrial)
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Proven ability to grow existing accounts
- Skilled at building relationships at multiple levels of an organization
- Ability to analyze systems and recommend long-term solutions
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher, may be substituted for experience in the industry
- Experience: 3-10 years working in a high-level Customer Relations Role
- Specialized Knowledge Needed for Performance of Job: Highly effective external communication skills with a strong customer orientation and attention to detail, ability to be proficient in the use of multiple computer systems
- Special Skills: The ability to work well with others in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment, ability to work to become proficient in following, memorizing and understanding standard operating procedures and practices, strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
- Other: Basic computer knowledge; Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications – Word, Excel
- Experience managing commercial or industrial service accounts (HVAC / Plumbing preferred)
- Presentation skills are a plus
- Experience with CRM applications a plus
