[Remote] National Account Manager - Target

HARIBO of America, Inc. is the world's #1 gummi candy manufacturer, and they are seeking a National Account Manager for Target to manage and grow the partnership with this key retailer. The role involves achieving sales goals, collaborating with various stakeholders, and executing strategic plans to drive profitability.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies and plans that meet assigned sales and market share goals for assigned account – Target (nationwide)
- Consistently achieve sales and profitability goals
- Execute consumer and shopper driven strategies
- Develop accurate rolling sales forecasts, partner with HARIBO's Supply Chain teams to minimize out-of-stocks
- Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders including Trade Marketing, Sales Finance, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Category Management, and Finance
- Leverage HARIBO product mix to drive profitability and meet customer and shopper targets
- Conduct headquarter calls at Target (retailer) corporate offices, meeting and presenting to key stakeholders
- Create and execute joint business plans
- Utilize data to develop accurate sales forecasts and use data to drive sales growth opportunities
Skills
- 5+ years of strategic sales experience specifically within the CPG - Consumer Packaged Goods industry
- Bachelor's Degree
- Prior experience managing National Accounts
- Prior experience with headquarters calls, calling on/meeting with the corporate headquarters of national retailers
- 2+ years of experience utilizing customer sales and/or syndicated data tools such as IRI, Circana, Nielsen, SPINS, etc
- Located within a reasonable commutable distance to a major airport
- This is a remote, field based position that requires the ability to travel 40% of the time, as needed, nationwide with overnight stays
- Currently reside in the greater Minneapolis / St Paul, Minnesota metropolitan area due to the geographic location of Target corporate headquarters
- 7+ years of sales/business development, ideally fast-moving consumer packaged goods (FMCG) industry
- Candy, Confectionary, or Salty Snacks experience is strongly preferred
