[Remote] National Account Manager

Responsibilities
- Own and manage a portfolio of 10–20 accounts, serving as the primary point of contact throughout the customer lifecycle
- Drive post-sale revenue growth by identifying upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities, then closing them
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within each account
- Own renewals and proactively reduce churn by ensuring customers realize ongoing value from the platform
- Develop account plans that map customer goals to ToolBelt solutions and revenue opportunities
- Conduct regular check-ins, business reviews, and strategic conversations to deepen partnerships
- Negotiate contract renewals, pricing, and terms in partnership with Sales leadership
- Serve as the voice of the customer internally, advocating for their needs with product and engineering
- Approach every account with a growth mindset: continuously selling the value of ToolBelt beyond the initial sale
- Hit and exceed expansion and retention targets within your assigned accounts
- Partner with the sales team on handoffs to ensure a seamless transition from new business to ongoing account management
- Collaborate with sales, product, customer success, and leadership to deliver a seamless customer experience
- Use a CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track account activity, document interactions, and manage your pipeline
- Share customer insights and feedback to inform product direction and the company roadmap
- Partner with onboarding and support teams to ensure customers get value quickly and consistently
Skills
- 3–5 years of professional experience in SaaS Account Management
- A proven sales background, with demonstrated success growing revenue within existing accounts
- Track record of managing a portfolio of multiple accounts (10–20) simultaneously
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage key stakeholders and decision-makers
- Comfort selling post-sale by identifying expansion opportunities and closing upsells and renewals
- Experience owning renewals, reducing churn, and hitting retention and growth targets
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and account management tools
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in a remote, distributed team setting
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage your own workflow across many accounts
- Experience and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced startup environment
- Experience selling into retail, home improvement, or skilled-trade industries
- Background working in a high-growth or early-stage SaaS company
