Remote Monitoring Aide
Remote Monitoring Aide - Part Time Day Location: RWJ Somerset, 110 Rehill Ave, Somerville, NJ 08876 (on site, not remote) Shift: Day (7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday–Friday; rotating Saturday/Sunday and Friday every other weekend) Pay: $18.25 per hour. Job Overview: The Monitor Aide works from within the hospital, remotely monitoring patients using video and bedside equipment. Applicants must be within a reasonable commuting distance from the facility. Prior patient monitor experience and successful completion of video monitor training are required. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential for effective communication and maintaining a professional demeanor in stressful or emergent situations. The role requires independent work with minimal supervision. Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior patient care experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with others.
Certifications and Licenses Required:
- AHA BLS.
Schedule Requirements:
- Part‑time Day (7 a.m.–3:30 p.m.).
- 16 hours per week (including alternating weekend coverage with a rotating Friday).
