Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health needs through telehealth platforms, including video conferencing and secure messaging systems.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on individual client assessments, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic methods.
  • Facilitate virtual therapy sessions that engage clients, helping them to identify their goals and work collaboratively towards achieving them.
  • Document all therapy sessions accurately and promptly, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulations in mental health documentation.
  • Provide ongoing support, encouragement, and check-ins to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus The patients you will serve come from diverse backgrounds and face various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and trauma. This role is critical in delivering compassionate care and supporting clients in navigating their mental health journeys effectively. Your ability to build rapport and establish trust through virtual platforms will be key to successful outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Active and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A Master’s degree or Doctorate in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and establish strong therapeutic relationships with clients through remote interactions.
  • Strong empathetic skills, with a commitment to understanding and valuing clients' unique experiences and perspectives.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple client cases and documentation within a remote work environment.

Preferred Experience

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in a mental health counseling role.
  • Experience using telehealth platforms for patient interactions.
  • Background in working with a variety of mental health issues, ideally in both individual and group therapy settings.
