[Remote] Marketing Team Lead (Ecommerce, Women's Health) [433]

They are seeking a Marketing Team Lead to manage the marketing team, improve execution standards, and drive revenue through effective marketing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the current marketing team
- Understand each person’s role, responsibilities, strengths, and blockers
- Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable to high standards
- Improve the creative, ad, and landing page execution pipeline
- Help the team move from creative concept to execution more smoothly and consistently
- Identify when team members are chasing low-value work or getting lost in unnecessary details
- Cut through noise and keep the team focused on high-impact priorities
- Question assumptions and push for stronger logic behind marketing decisions
- Evaluate marketing ideas based on likely impact, scale, and business value
- Use performance metrics to understand what is working and where the team should focus
- Help increase revenue and profitability through better marketing execution
- Unblock team members and make sure work keeps moving forward
- Coach and level up the team’s thinking, decision-making, and execution quality
- Bring judgment from previous marketing successes and failures
- Know when to zoom into the details and when to zoom out to the bigger picture
- Create a stronger operating rhythm for the marketing team
Skills
- 5-10+ years of marketing experience, with meaningful experience managing marketing teams
- Proven experience leading marketers, creatives, media buyers, or marketing operators toward stronger execution and measurable outcomes
- Strong understanding of creative, paid ads, landing pages, funnels, and performance metrics
- Ability to manage a marketing workflow from creative concept through execution, launch, analysis, and iteration
- Clear judgment around what deserves attention, what creates business impact, and what is a low-value distraction
- Strong ability to hold people accountable without being overly harsh or overly passive
- Comfortable calling out weak logic, lack of detail, unclear thinking, or work that does not meet the standard
- Ability to understand numbers, put numbers to assumptions, and use metrics as guardrails without losing creative judgment
- A clear track record of success and the ability to explain why something worked or did not work
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to lead with confidence, organization, clarity, and urgency
- Comfortable managing a team of approximately 5-7 people
- Experience in women's health, women's supplements, wellness, e-commerce, or DTC consumer brands is strongly preferred
