- Build a directly engaged audience that bypasses the AI middleman to get verified, human-authored history
- Build direct relationship with community to secure financial sustainability for core digital library
- Design growth strategies and execute them
- Drive outreach and handle day-to-day execution to reach goals
- Research, contact, and pitch platforms directly to institutional decision-makers
- Drive app downloads, manage app store optimization, and execute campaigns to convert website visitors into active app users
- Reach out to digital book reviewers, manage micro-influencer gifting loops, and coordinate campaigns for physical catalog
- Craft compelling pitches and contact journalists, podcasters, and newsletter editors to secure media coverage
Skills
- At least five years experience in marketing
- Proven track record of actively growing audiences for mobile apps, newsletters, and websites
- Practical experience in driving app downloads, managing app store optimization (ASO), and executing campaigns to convert website visitors into active app users
- Ability to research, contact, and pitch platforms directly to institutional decision-makers, such as US school districts, administrators, or educational boards
- Experience with the practical side of print marketing—such as directly reaching out to digital book reviewers, managing micro-influencer gifting loops, and coordinating campaigns to move our physical catalog
- Ability to craft compelling pitches and directly contact journalists, podcasters, and newsletter editors to secure media coverage, features, and interview segments for our editorial team
