[Remote] Marketing Analyst(Philanthropy)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Silicon Valley Chapter is focused on driving philanthropy through donor and prospect intelligence. The Marketing Analyst (Philanthropy) is responsible for providing donor research and analytics services, coordinating impact reports, and ensuring data integrity within the donor database.
Responsibilities
- Ensures high level data integrity, initiates and executes global changes and updates of donor database
- Maintains current knowledge of HIPAA and fundraising regulations, and strives to ensure PHI compliance
- Adheres to the Code of Professional Fundraising Ethics, Association for Fundraising Professionals Donor’s Bill of Rights, and meets all aspects of Adventist Health's philanthropy confidentiality practices
- Responsible for developing strategic, accurate, confidential, and detailed reports reflecting philanthropy and grants activities
- Provides database support to market philanthropy data leads to ensure data governance standards are maintained, the generation of KPI weekly/monthly/quarterly and annual dashboards, confirm impact reports, and provide database security access and orientation for new associates
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders in payroll/human performance, information technologies and finance to advance strategic initiatives
- Actively identifies and researches individuals, corporations and foundations to analyze biographical, financial, and other data obtained from a variety of internal and external sources to determine capacity and inclination to give
- Records research in RE NXT and prepares prospect research reports for markets and system major gift solicitors
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Skills
- Minimum Education - Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Blackbaud RE NXT is required
- Excellent proficiency in business communication tools, including Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Maintains current knowledge of HIPAA and fundraising regulations, and strives to ensure PHI compliance
- Bachelor's Degree in fund raising, business administration or healthcare administration or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Three years' related experience
- Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) accreditation
- Knowledge of enterprise subscriptions to Blackbaud FE NXT, Fundraiser Performance Management
- Direct experience in developing data entry standards and analytic tools such as statistical models, data mining, and wealth screening
