[Remote] Managing Director, Complex Accounting & Litigation (Insurance Solvency Analysis)

They are seeking a seasoned Managing Director for their Complex Accounting & Litigation team to lead high-impact engagements, mentor talent, and cultivate client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow junior team members on client work and business development
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on quality, innovation, and client service
• Assist in internal knowledge sharing, training, and professional development initiatives
• Able to oversee and execute engagements in a wide array of disciplines including complex, investigations involving regulatory inquiries, forensic accounting, litigation consulting and expert witness services
• Guide the development of client deliverables including reports, presentations, and data visualizations and testimony
• Serve as a senior point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and strategic insight
• Expand your book of business and contribute to the growth of the Complex Accounting & Litigation practice
• Develop and implement go-to-market strategies in collaboration with internal stakeholders
• Build and maintain relationships with law firms, regulators, financial institutions, and corporate clients
• Represent J.S. Held at industry events, conferences, and client engagements

Skills

• 15+ years of experience in relevant experience ranging from auditing, CFO, regulatory or standard setting, forensic accounting, litigation consulting, and expert witness services roles
• Certified Public Accountant or equivalent
• Proven experience with a focus on executing on client delivery of high quality services and ability to work within and manage a team
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex findings into clear, actionable insights
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
• Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management
• Significant experience in the financial services and insurance industries
• Prior audit experience
• Additional relevant certifications including CFE, CFF, among others
