[Remote] Managing Director, Complex Accounting & Litigation (Insurance Solvency Analysis)

The Managing Director will support and expand the firm's capabilities within forensic accounting and litigation consulting, lead engagements, mentor talent, and cultivate client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow junior team members on client work and business development
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on quality, innovation, and client service
- Assist in internal knowledge sharing, training, and professional development initiatives
- Able to oversee and execute engagements in a wide array of disciplines including complex, investigations involving regulatory inquiries, forensic accounting, litigation consulting and expert witness services
- Guide the development of client deliverables including reports, presentations, and data visualizations and testimony
- Serve as a senior point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and strategic insight
- Expand your book of business and contribute to the growth of the Complex Accounting & Litigation practice
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Build and maintain relationships with law firms, regulators, financial institutions, and corporate clients
- Represent J.S. Held at industry events, conferences, and client engagements
Skills
- 15+ years of experience in relevant experience ranging from auditing, CFO, regulatory or standard setting, forensic accounting, litigation consulting, and expert witness services roles
- Certified Public Accountant or equivalent
- Proven experience with a focus on executing on client delivery of high quality services and ability to work within and manage a team
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex findings into clear, actionable insights
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management
- Significant experience in the financial services and insurance industries
- Prior audit experience
- Additional relevant certifications including CFE, CFF, among others
