[Remote] Lead Services Specialist - Customer Service Management
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. GE Aerospace is seeking a Lead Services Specialist to support the Colombian military in the operation and maintenance of T700 engine depots. The role involves providing on-site technical assistance and acting as a liaison between GE and the customer, ensuring timely resolution of issues and supporting operational objectives.
Responsibilities
- Act as the single point of contact to the customer for timely and satisfactory resolution of concerns covering a wide variety of support issues related to depot level tooling, maintenance, repair, and management of T700 engines as required
- Establish and maintain on-site relationships to provide on-going technical and business support to assigned customers
- Includes direct customer interaction and coordination, utilizing in-depth knowledge of engine installation, operation and troubleshooting to help the customer quickly resolve issues and stay on schedule. Technical discipline, analytical thinking and technical experience are required to execute on contract deliverables
- Create presentations and spreadsheets that utilize pivot tables and Pareto charts to assist in drilling down to find root cause for issues and create lasting solutions
- Self-motivated, highly detailed and uses best practices to achieve goals while integrating well with others. Aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
- Uses best judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated maintenance and troubleshooting processes with technical variety and /or interdependent production cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and external sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead projects with low risk and resource requirements. Explains information, developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues
Skills
- Fluent reading, writing and speaking Spanish and English
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (or a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a field service representative or jet engine maintenance position)
- Minimum of 3 years of field maintenance, modification, and repair experience on T700 engines
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Ability and willingness to travel as required
- Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
- 5 years of hands-on turboshaft engine maintenance experience
- T700 engine experience at depot, organizational, intermediate maintenance levels and flight line troubleshooting
- Strong personal customer interaction and communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Proven analytical and quality improvement abilities
- Demonstrated proficiency in repair troubleshooting, shop operations and testing of jet engines and support equipment tooling
- Able to work with and make formal presentations to all levels of maintenance, engineering, and management
- Project management experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence customers and peers
- Possess knowledge of the learning process and how to transfer technical knowledge to less qualified personnel including the ability to express thoughts in both oral and written communications
- Able to work independently, with technical guidance to perform work requirements
- Possess a high degree of tact and diplomacy to work harmoniously with customers at all levels
- FAA Powerplant license
