[Remote] Junior Data Scientist

The role involves analyzing large datasets, building predictive models, and developing machine learning solutions to generate actionable business insights while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured datasets
- Develop predictive and statistical models to solve business challenges
- Build and deploy machine learning algorithms and AI solutions
- Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights
- Perform data mining, trend analysis, and forecasting
- Collaborate with data engineers and software developers to optimize data pipelines
- Design experiments and evaluate model performance
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams
- Work with cloud platforms and big data technologies for scalable analytics solutions
Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Python, R, or SQL
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
- Knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data visualization
- Hands-on experience with tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel
- Understanding of data structures, ETL processes, and database systems
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience with NLP, Deep Learning, or Generative AI projects
- Knowledge of Spark, Hadoop, or big data technologies
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Relevant certifications in AI, Machine Learning, or Cloud technologies
