[Remote] IT/ SAP Project Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Kearney is a consulting firm that focuses on delivering large scale ERP and digital transformation initiatives for global clients. As an IT Project Manager, you will lead complex technology programs, emphasizing SAP S 4HANA migrations and enterprise platform implementations while working closely with client stakeholders and internal specialists.
Responsibilities
- Leading ERP and digital transformation programs end to end, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget
- Overseeing planning, execution, governance, and reporting for major IT implementations
- Managing senior client stakeholders and communicating progress, risks, and decisions clearly and confidently
- Identifying risks, developing mitigation strategies, and managing escalations across complex programs
- Coordinating and aligning cross functional teams, external vendors, and implementation partners
- Analyzing business processes and translating requirements into practical transformation roadmaps
- Supporting vendor selection, tender processes, and partner management
- Driving change management initiatives to ensure successful system adoption and business readiness
- Contributing consulting expertise to client engagements in manufacturing and or wholesale retail environments
Skills
- An academic background in Information Technology or a related field
- Five to ten years of professional experience in IT project management or consulting
- A proven track record leading major IT or ERP implementations
- Experience working in consulting or other client facing environments
- Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Business Central, or similar system
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to bridge business and IT stakeholders
- Experience managing vendors, partners, and large-scale programs
- SAP knowledge, preferably with S 4HANA migration experience
- Experience in manufacturing and or wholesale retail industries
- PMP or other project management certifications
