[Remote] IT Project Manager (EPIC Tapestry)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Perfict is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with strong EPIC Tapestry implementation experience to lead healthcare IT projects. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end project lifecycles, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver successful EPIC implementations within scope, schedule, and budget.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage IT projects throughout the full project lifecycle
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee EPIC Tapestry implementation activities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk management strategies
- Monitor project progress, identify risks/issues, and implement mitigation plans
- Facilitate project meetings, status reporting, and stakeholder communications
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements
- Support change management, testing, deployment, and post-implementation activities
- Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with organizational standards
Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 4+ years of direct IT Project Management experience
- Proven experience managing EPIC implementation projects
- Hands-on experience with EPIC Tapestry
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices
- Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a healthcare environment
- Experience in Healthcare IT environments
- PMP or other Project Management certification is a plus
- Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
- Knowledge of Electronic Health Records (EHR) and healthcare systems
