[Remote] Instructional Designer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Dental Care Alliance is seeking an Instructional Designer to develop and maintain instructional training materials. The role focuses on creating effective training programs and collaborating with subject matter experts to enhance learning and development solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and present clinical training programs in performance management and leadership development
- Facilitate training sessions in both classroom and virtual settings
- Assess needs; analyze necessary outcomes and implements appropriate learning and development design solutions
- Develop and maintain instructional training materials (Instructor-Led and eLearning) including course curriculum, facilitator guides, participant guides, job aids and other content using established and effective ISD methodology. Provide recommendations on the most effective delivery modality
- Work in partnership with subject matter experts to gather information needed to develop training content
- Apply best practices in online instructional design and current theoretical frameworks
- Keep training content up-to-date in a timely manner to ensure employees have most current information
- Manage pre-and post-learning activities, communications and materials
- Evaluate the effectiveness of courses, updates program, and continuously improve the quality of training & development programs
Skills

- Develop and maintain instructional training materials (Instructor-Led and eLearning) including course curriculum, facilitator guides, participant guides, job aids and other content using established and effective ISD methodology

- Work in partnership with subject matter experts to gather information needed to develop training content
- Apply best practices in online instructional design and current theoretical frameworks
- Keep training content up-to-date in a timely manner to ensure employees have most current information
- Manage pre-and post-learning activities, communications and materials
- Evaluate the effectiveness of courses, updates program, and continuously improve the quality of training & development programs
- Proficiency in training facilitation and presentation (in person and virtual)
- Demonstrated knowledge of key learning design concepts such as outcomes-based curriculum development, and competency-based programs
- Proficiency with course development using e-learning authoring tools, such as Articulate Storyline, Canva, 7Taps and other multimedia programs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Adobe and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a highly collaborative team
- At least three years' experience designing and delivering clinical Instructor Led and online training for adult learners and clinicians
- Bachelor's degree in Adult Learning, Instructional System Design, or related fields is preferred but not required
