[Remote] Human Resources Manager - South Central

Work from home Full-time role Hiring

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Victra is Verizon’s largest premium retailer in the United States, focusing on collaboration and innovation. The HR Manager will partner with leadership to enhance employee relations, manage HR initiatives, and ensure compliance with legal requirements while fostering a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

  • Partner directly with leadership on developing and maintaining positive employee relations in your assigned area
  • Drive participation, execution, and completion of performance and talent management programs
  • Assist with investigations including interviewing complainants and witnesses
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Counsel and resolve employee relations issues, including manager/employee situations, employee engagement, policies and procedures, terminations and reorganizations
  • Handle extremely confidential and time sensitive information while navigating through escalated human resources issues
  • Review internal promotions and re-hire requests
  • Manage human resource initiatives and special projects as well as research and recommend new ideas
  • All other duties as assigned

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 5+ years of total HR experience
  • Ability to work business hours of assigned area including some evening and weekend support on an as-needed basis due to support of retail store operations
  • Outstanding listening and relationship management skills
  • Demonstrated flexibility to re-prioritize and adapt quickly
  • A high-level of proficiency in MS Office
  • Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality
  • Strong communication and inter-personal skills required
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborative but also self-motivated, ability to work well autonomously, outgoing and focused on providing excellent customer service to our internal customers
  • Sound judgement with regards to when to escalate an issue to HR Leadership
  • Desire to have fun while being the best and to bring energy and enthusiasm to work every day
  • Experience with employment laws for assigned area preferred
