[Remote] Human Resources Intern
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Cohen Veterans Network is a not-for-profit philanthropic organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for veterans and their families. They are seeking a motivated HR Intern to support the HR team with various administrative and operational tasks, including maintaining records and assisting with HR audits.
Responsibilities
- Assist with HR Audits
- Maintain and update HR records and trackers
- Assist with organizing employee files and documentation
- Support handbook and policy document management
- Help standardize file naming and recordkeeping processes
- Help compile HR reports and background check records
- Support office organization and administrative projects
- Other projects, as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in human resource management or studying toward a degree in human resource management or any business-related field
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
- The ability to work as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards
- You are willing to be a part of a small, dynamic, and innovative team while contributing your voice to all aspects of the CVN and its growth
- Some Travel Required
- Proven experience working in an office environment is a plus
- Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software is advantageous
