[Remote] Human Resources Generalist

New Century Home Care is seeking a dynamic and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join their team and drive HR initiatives forward. The role involves serving as a vital link between management and employees, managing HR functions from talent acquisition to employee relations, and promoting organizational growth and employee engagement.
Responsibilities
- Lead talent acquisition efforts by sourcing candidates through various channels, managing applicant tracking systems (ATS), conducting interviews, and coordinating onboarding processes to attract top talent
- Administer human capital management systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM to maintain accurate employee data and streamline HR operations
- Oversee employee orientation programs and conduct regular employee evaluations to support performance management initiatives
- Manage benefits administration including health insurance, workers' compensation, and retirement plans using platforms like Paychex, ADP, or UltiPro
- Ensure compliance with employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, and affirmative action planning to uphold legal standards across all HR activities
- Facilitate change management processes and assist in organization design and workforce planning to support strategic growth objectives
- Handle employee relations issues with tact and professionalism, employing conflict management techniques to resolve disputes effectively
- Support training & development programs aimed at enhancing skills, leadership capabilities, and succession planning efforts
- Maintain accurate data collection and entry for HRIS systems such as PeopleSoft or Ceridian while generating reports for management review
- Promote a positive work environment through social media management and internal communication strategies that boost employee engagement
Skills
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar human resources role with a strong understanding of human resources management principles
- Hands-on experience with HR sourcing tools like iCIMS or Lever, along with proficiency in ATS platforms such as Taleo or Paylocity
- Knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, workers' compensation procedures, and affirmative action planning is essential
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously using project management skills while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
- Experience working with HRIS systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or PeopleSoft is preferred
- Familiarity with payroll processing systems including Kronos or Dayforce is highly desirable
- Administrative experience supporting benefits administration, data entry accuracy, and contract management is advantageous
