[Remote] Head of Growth & Demand Generation
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. social.plus is on a mission to help brands and creators own their communities instead of renting them on third-party social platforms. The Head of Growth & Demand Generation will own and scale non-paid and hybrid pipeline creation, leading all growth initiatives outside of paid acquisition and classic inbound, while closely collaborating with the VP of Marketing and Sales leadership.
Responsibilities
- Own the strategy for non-paid and hybrid demand generation with a clear focus on pipeline creation
- Design and execute scalable growth plays across events, partnerships, social and thought leadership, webinars, roundtables, community-led initiatives, and earned media
- Identify, test, and scale new channels and formats beyond traditional SaaS playbooks
- Own the full events strategy including tier-1, tier-2, owned, and partner-led initiatives
- Shift execution away from booth-led tactics toward deal-driven, meeting-first event motions
- Define and track clear ROI frameworks per event, including pipeline targets, meetings booked, and conversion rates
- Build and manage a portfolio of revenue-relevant partnerships
- Design repeatable co-marketing and co-selling motions with partners
- Work closely with Sales to activate partners into real opportunities
- Own executive, brand, and product narratives across social and community channels
- Drive content and social strategies that support sales conversations rather than vanity metrics
- Elevate founder and executive presence where relevant without requiring constant CEO involvement
- Define and execute a PR and earned media strategy, either in-house or via agencies
- Own messaging, story angles, and editorial calendar, ensuring alignment with growth moments and sales priorities
- Lead and grow the demand generation team over time
- Set clear goals, prioritization, and operating cadence
- Reduce dependency on the CEO for ideation, validation, and execution
- Collaborate closely with the VP of Marketing on attribution, funnel impact, and measurement
- Partner with Sales on ICP focus, account-based motions, and deal acceleration
- Align with the CEO on strategic narrative and major growth bets, not execution
Skills
- At least 5 years of experience in B2B SaaS growth, demand generation, field marketing, or ecosystem-led growth
- Experience in fast-scaling B2B companies, ideally in Series A to C environments, with exposure to rapid growth phases
- Proven track record of generating pipelines through non-paid or hybrid channels, selling to similar ICPs
- Strong strategic thinker with a high execution bias
- Comfortable being measured on revenue outcomes
- Able to balance creativity with commercial discipline
