[Remote] Head of Growth
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Rest and Reset is an early-stage D2C home textiles and soft goods brand dedicated to helping people turn their homes into sanctuaries. They are seeking a Fractional Head of Growth who will own the end-to-end revenue strategy, focusing on conversions, retention, and B2B channel development while collaborating with the CMO on brand narrative and top-of-funnel awareness.
Responsibilities
- Full-Funnel Revenue Strategy: Own the complete customer journey from awareness (working with CMO on top-of-funnel targets) through purchase and retention. Define unit economics for each channel (B2C retail, B2B wholesale, affiliate). Set revenue targets and measure channel contribution
- Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): A/B test website elements (landing pages, product pages, checkout flow). Continuously reduce friction and increase Average Order Value (AOV). Target: 1.5–2.0% conversion rate minimum
- Pricing & Bundle Strategy: Develop and test product bundles ('Sanctuary Bundles,' room-makeover kits) that drive AOV to A$150+. Test dynamic pricing, seasonal offers, and volume discounts
- Lifecycle Email & SMS Automation (Klaviyo): Own the optimization of automated email and SMS flows: welcome sequences, abandoned cart recovery, product recommendations, re-engagement campaigns. Test subject lines, send times, and segment messaging for maximum LTV
- LTV Growth & Retention Targets: Maximize customer lifetime value to ensure at least 30% of monthly store revenue comes from organic retention channels (email, SMS, repeat purchase). Reduce churn through personalized messaging and exclusive retention offers
- Customer Data & Segmentation: Build and maintain clean customer segments in Klaviyo (first-time buyers, high-value repeat customers, at-risk segments). Ensure data hygiene and compliance
- B2B Sales Strategy: Develop go-to-market strategy for corporate/institutional customers (hotels, wellness retreats, interior designers, corporate offices). Define pricing, order minimums, and wholesale terms
- Channel Partnerships & Integrations: Identify and negotiate partnerships with complementary brands or platforms. Explore affiliate, ambassador, and white-label opportunities
- Pipeline Management: Own a simple but disciplined B2B pipeline. Track lead source, close rates, and average deal size. Report on B2B revenue contribution monthly
- Core Metrics Dashboard: Build and maintain a live dashboard (Google Sheets or simple BI tool) tracking: revenue, AOV, CAC, ROAS, conversion rate, LTV, churn, email/SMS performance, B2B pipeline. Update weekly
- Channel Attribution: Establish clear attribution for each revenue channel. Ensure at least 30–35% of sales are attributed to Klaviyo (email/SMS retention channels)
- Weekly Reporting & Course Correction: Deliver weekly performance summaries to leadership. Identify underperforming channels and recommend budget reallocation within 48 hours
Skills
- Documented success scaling D2C or B2B revenue from startup to A$2M+
- Proven ability to build and own revenue metrics, not just contribute to strategy
- Deep hands-on experience with Klaviyo (or comparable email/SMS platforms)
- Comfortable building automation workflows, segmentation, and optimization
- Proficiency with Google Analytics, Shopify admin, and A/B testing frameworks
- Comfortable interpreting data and making decisions based on evidence
- Experience managing both consumer acquisition and B2B/wholesale channel development
- Understand the different rhythms and economics of each channel
- You own revenue targets
- You don't blame external factors; you iterate, test, and optimize
