[Remote] Head of Business Development

Supply Chain Alliance (SCA) is a strategy and operations focused consulting firm dedicated to helping clients solve complex supply chain challenges. They are seeking a visionary Head of Business Development to lead revenue growth by developing new client relationships and expanding strategic accounts across North America.
Responsibilities
- Lead Supply Chain Alliance’s revenue growth by developing new client relationships and expanding strategic accounts
- Position SCA as a trusted advisor to senior supply chain leaders across North America
- Identify market white space and define and execute the go-to-market strategy
- Achieve the company’s growth mission
Skills
- Degree in Business Administration, Commerce or related field
- 8+ years of business development or sales experience
- 5+ years selling consulting or professional services
- Demonstrated track record of generating and closing new consulting deals
- Experience managing complex sales cycles and enterprise clients
- Executive-level selling capability (VP/C-Suite)
- Extensive network and industry relationships in US and Canada
- Strategic thinking and market insight
- Excellent presentation and proposal development skills
- Negotiation and contract management expertise
- Strong preference for supply chain industry and domain knowledge
- Excellent understanding of business process flows, client objectives, and ability to capture and articulate scope, and define deliverables
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to travel 30%-40%, primarily in U.S. and Canada
