[Remote] GTM Engineer (Consultant)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Carrot is the leading global fertility and family care platform, and they are seeking a GTM Engineer (Consultant) to build operational leverage through marketing strategy execution. This role involves designing workflows, building marketing infrastructure, and ensuring efficient data flow within the marketing stack.
Responsibilities
- Design and ship agentic marketing workflows using Claude Code, n8n, and Zapier that extend Carrot's existing agent fleet across demand generation, ABM, and pipeline creation
- Build reusable enrichment and signal plays that surface high-intent accounts for the sales and marketing teams to act on
- Strengthen the lead-to-opportunity data foundation — clean segmentation, fast and reliable routing, and end-to-end funnel traceability — so targeting and measurement hold up
- Build out a warehouse-native data spine (reverse-ETL, identity resolution) so agent-computed scores and signals flow reliably back into Salesforce and Outreach where reps actually work
- Partner with Marketing Ops to evolve Carrot’s marketing automation infrastructure, including Marketo and Outreach, ensuring campaigns execute cleanly and data flows correctly downstream
- Develop and maintain a UTM governance framework and attribution logic so marketing investment is traceable and defensible
- Build account-based marketing infrastructure: target-account audiences from the enrichment layer, intent-driven orchestration, and multi-threaded buying-group plays that coordinate across paid, outbound, and SDR motions
- Partner with Demand Generation and Revenue Operations to identify where manual work can be replaced by durable systems
- Document every system you build for handoff, version control, and continuity, so the team is never dependent on a single operator
- Evaluate the build-vs-buy tradeoff for new tooling with a clear lens on maintenance cost, quality tolerance, and team capability
- Run qualitative and quantitative experiments on the marketing tech stack and bring evidence-backed recommendations to leadership
Skills
- A Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years in a marketing, growth, or GTM role with hands-on technical building, not just tool administration
- Demonstrated experience shipping real agents and workflows using Claude Code, Clay, n8n, Zapier, or comparable tools. You can share a link to something you built and walk through the architecture and trade-offs
- Strong fundamentals in marketing. You have an independent point of view on what good positioning, messaging, and campaign design looks like, separate from what the AI produced
- Proficiency with Marketo and Salesforce at a level beyond standard user access. You understand how campaigns, programs, and lead flows are structured
- Hands-on with a data warehouse + SQL (Snowflake/BigQuery) and reverse-ETL (Census/Hightouch) - you can move data between systems durably, not just wire point-to-point automations
- A systems mindset. You design for re-runs and reuse, use version control, and write documentation as a default, not an afterthought
- Experience in healthcare, digital health, or employee benefits, with an understanding of B2B2C marketing dynamics
- Familiarity with the Carrot marketing stack: Marketo, SFDC, Outreach, 6sense, Gong, ZoomInfo, and Ramp Metrics
- ABM orchestration (6sense) and partner/channel marketing experience
- Prior experience in a founding or early-stage marketing engineering role where you established processes from scratch
- Knowledge of RevOps and SDR tooling at the point where marketing automation hands off to sales execution
Benefits
