[Remote] GIS Analyst

Dice is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical GIS Analyst with a passion for geospatial analysis and imagery interpretation to join their growing team. This role involves analyzing aerial and satellite imagery to produce operational insights and requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to support planning initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret aerial and satellite imagery to identify and document ground features, infrastructure, and land-use patterns
- Utilize GIS tools and mapping technologies to support operational analysis, planning, and reporting activities
- Review and validate geospatial data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Identify residential and commercial land parcels, utility infrastructure, easements, and rights-of-way
- Maintain detailed documentation, reports, and mapping records in accordance with established standards and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational objectives and project deliverables
- Apply industry best practices and quality assurance standards in imagery analysis and geospatial workflows
Skills
- Experience interpreting aerial and/or satellite imagery
- Strong knowledge of GIS tools, mapping systems, and geospatial analysis practices
- Understanding of residential and commercial land parcels, utility infrastructure, and rights-of-way
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to manage priorities and deliver results in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Equivalent professional experience in GIS analysis or imagery interpretation may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Proficiency with GIS software and mapping platforms
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a cross-functional team environment
