[Remote] Geographic Information Systems Analyst (GIS)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Radiant Digital provides IT solutions and consulting services to government agencies and businesses. They are seeking a Geographic Information Systems Analyst to manage and maintain enterprise-level GIS systems while ensuring data integrity and enhancing service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Required Experience administering, configuring, and maintaining enterprise-level GIS systems (ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online) including servers, databases, desktop applications, web services, licensing, and Azure-based GIS infrastructure
- Required Ensure monitoring of system integrity, security, and performance, including user access control, backups, upgrades, and patch management
- Required Coordinate with ITS staff on infrastructure, cybersecurity, data storage, and integration of GIS with other enterprise systems (such as permitting and asset management)
- Required Knowledge of geospatial data formats, mapping principles, and cartographic standards for geospatial data management
- Required Manage the creation, collection, maintenance, and quality control of geospatial datasets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
- Required Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation including architecture diagrams, standard operating procedure, asset inventories, and data governance
- Required Collaborates with departments to identify geospatial needs and design solutions that enhance service delivery, planning, and operational efficiency
- Required Support vendor relationship management including licensing; procurement of GIS software, data, and services; emerging technologies; and industry standards to support modernization efforts
- Required Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written/verbal in English) for accurate technical writing and presentations for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Required Strong analysis experience and expertise in assessing Production Support issues to determine Root Cause and document items needed for data or system correction
Skills

- Experience with Mainframe Environments, Visio, Data Warehouse / Data Lake, Informatica, Snowflake
- Familiarity with scripting and automation such as Python, SQL, ArcPy, Azure DevOps
- Experience in Oil and Gas industry as well as general compliance and enforcement related projects as Systems Analyst
- Proven ability to work compatibly within multifaceted teams
- Resolve conflicts, and deal with challenging situations
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
