Remote General Liability AttorneyPosition Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated General Litigation Attorney to join our growing litigation team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a broad range of civil litigation matters and will be comfortable working independently while collaborating with attorneys, clients, and support staff.Key ResponsibilitiesManage all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparationDraft legal documents such as complaints, answers, motions, briefs, and discovery responsesConduct legal research and analysisTake and defend depositionsCommunicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courtsRepresent clients in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials as appropriateQualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolActive license and good standing with the Bar+3 years of experience in general civil litigationStrong legal writing, research, and analytical skillsExcellent communication and organizational abilitiesAbility to manage multiple matters and meet deadlinesMust sit where there is an office for this firm - across the United StatesPreferred (but not required)Trial or courtroom experienceExperience in commercial litigation, employment, insurance defense, personal injury, etc.What We OfferCompetitive compensation commensurate with experienceBenefits package including health insurance, 401(k), PTO, etc.Professional development and growth opportunitiesCollaborative and supportive work environment
