[Remote] Franchise Marketing Manager

They are seeking a Franchise Marketing Manager to lead marketing efforts for franchise locations, build relationships with franchise owners, and develop strategies to enhance membership growth and local brand awareness.
Responsibilities
- Own the marketing performance of your designated franchise locations, acting as the primary marketing consultant and strategic advisor
- Build trusted relationships with franchise owners by understanding their business goals, challenges, and opportunities
- Develop customized local marketing strategies that support membership growth, guest acquisition, retention, and revenue
- Analyze marketing and business performance to identify opportunities and recommend actionable strategies
- Review KPIs including memberships, lead generation, conversion rates, campaign performance, local marketing spend, and ROI
- Hold franchisees accountable for execution while providing coaching, recommendations, and ongoing support
- Own the complete marketing strategy for assigned new builds and brand conversions
- Lead pre-opening marketing planning, local marketing setup, grassroots initiatives, and grand opening execution
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure successful launches
- Guide franchisees through local marketing planning aligned with national campaigns and brand initiatives
- Recommend digital advertising, community partnerships, events, social media, PR opportunities, and grassroots marketing strategies
- Identify opportunities to pilot new marketing initiatives and share best practices across the system
- Ensure franchisees utilize approved marketing platforms, tools, and brand assets
- Monitor local marketing fund compliance and execution
- Report territory performance, trends, and recommendations to marketing leadership
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve marketing processes and franchisee support
Skills
- 4-6 years of franchise experience required
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships with franchise owners and influence without direct authority
- Demonstrated success managing multiple franchisees, territories, accounts, or locations simultaneously
- Comfortable serving as both a strategic consultant and hands-on marketing partner, with the ability to translate business challenges into actionable marketing solutions
- Strong understanding of local marketing strategy, digital marketing, customer acquisition, promotional planning, and marketing ROI
- Experience analyzing business performance and marketing metrics to identify opportunities and recommend strategic action plans
- Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, reporting dashboards, and digital marketing technologies
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Self-starter who takes ownership, exercises sound judgment, and consistently follows through on commitments
- This role requires approximately 10-15% travel, depending on the business needs and annual growth plan. Travel primarily supports new Retreat openings, brand conversions, franchisee visits, regional meetings, and occasional on-site marketing support
- Wellness, fitness, hospitality, health services, or retail franchise experience is highly preferred
