[Remote] Fractional Founding Product Marketing Manager

They are seeking a Founding Fractional Product Marketing Manager to help define market understanding and category positioning, working closely with the founder to shape messaging, go-to-market strategies, and product launches.
Responsibilities
- Own positioning and messaging across products and markets
- Help define and evolve our category narrative
- Develop customer-facing collateral including decks, one-pagers, case studies, demos, and website content
- Create launch plans for new product capabilities
- Interview customers and synthesize market insights
- Conduct competitive and market research
- Work closely with engineering to translate technical capabilities into business value
- Support fundraising and enterprise sales with messaging and strategic content
- Build repeatable product marketing processes as the company scales
Skills
- Product Marketing at an enterprise SaaS or AI company
- Technical products, developer tools, data infrastructure, AI platforms, healthcare AI, or enterprise software
- Category creation or early-stage startups
- Exceptional technical storytelling
- Strong writing and presentation skills
- Customer discovery and market research
- Ability to operate with significant autonomy
- Healthcare, biotech, life sciences, defense, or manufacturing
- AI agents, LLMs, data infrastructure, or knowledge graphs
- Founder or first marketing hire experience
Benefits
- Initially, compensation is equity-based , with an anticipated grant in the range of 0.2% to 0.6% , depending on experience, commitment, and expected impact.
- Following a major fundraising milestone, the role is expected to transition to an ongoing cash retainer while preserving long-term alignment through equity.
