[Remote] Financial Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Russell Tobin is seeking an experienced FP&A Specialist to support a growing organization undergoing a significant finance transformation. This role will enhance financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytical processes while helping to build a scalable FP&A function.
Responsibilities
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities across the organization
- Develop and maintain financial models to support operational and strategic initiatives
- Prepare monthly financial reports, variance analyses, and management presentations
- Analyze business performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Assist with revenue, expense, headcount, and compensation forecasting
- Create and maintain KPI dashboards and executive reporting tools
- Load and manage financial data within reporting and planning systems
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to improve reporting accuracy and financial visibility
- Support process improvement initiatives and help establish scalable FP&A best practices
- Assist with financial systems enhancements, reporting automation, and data integration efforts
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Financial Analysis, or a related role
- Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with financial planning and reporting tools
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience supporting finance transformation or process improvement initiatives
- Experience working within a high-growth or evolving business environment
- Familiarity with FP&A platforms such as Vena, Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, or similar tools
- Experience with CRM systems such as HubSpot
- Exposure to automation, reporting optimization, or AI-driven financial analysis tools
