[Remote] EY-Parthenon - Software Strategy Group - Product / Technology Due Diligence -Sr Associate/Consultant

The Software Strategy Group within EY-Parthenon is seeking a Senior Associate/Consultant to lead innovative projects, support clients in technology assessments, and drive strategic direction in the software sector.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in development of technology questions to assess investment hypotheses and engagement objectives
• Charged with running complex engagements, framing overall hypotheses and the most important issues for workstreams to analyze
• Act as a knowledge resource in a software economy affinity area and aid in practice-wide business development efforts
• Drive strategic direction of practice-building activities

Skills

• Outstanding academic performance, with a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 3 years of related work experience
• Ability to make detailed assessments of industry, products, markets, competitors, and customers to identify risks and opportunities
• Proficient in the English language, including the ability to listen, understand, read and communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, in a professional environment
• Effective organization and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
• The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary
• You must either reside in or be in a commutable distance to your office location for this position
• Experience in a technology company in a product management or R&D-focused role or in a consulting firm with technology-oriented clients
• MBA or related graduate degree with at least 3 years of related work experience, with a particular focus on client advisory or strategic planning within a professional services environment
• Expertise in one or more software sectors (e.g., ERP, CRM, HCIT, FinTech)
• A demonstrated ability to lead teams on complex assignments and develop individual team members
• Knowledge of how to leverage AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot
