[Remote] Director/Senior Director Business Development
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Metric Bio is partnered with a rapidly growing CRO entering an exciting phase of expansion across the United States. They are searching for a commercial leader to drive business growth and establish a stronger market presence.
Responsibilities
- Lead business development strategy and revenue growth across the United States
- Identify, develop, and close new partnerships with biotech and some Pharma sponsors
- Build and execute a targeted commercial strategy to expand the organisation's US footprint
- Develop long-term relationships with key decision-makers across biotech and pharma
- Partner closely with executive leadership to influence commercial strategy and market expansion
- Represent the organisation at industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings
- Help establish the foundations of a growing US commercial team, with the opportunity to recruit and lead future Business Development professionals
Skills
- Proven success in Business Development within the CRO, clinical research (Diagnostics, Central Labs)
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business and consistently exceed commercial targets
- Strong network across biotech and pharmaceutical organisations
- Experience managing end-to-end sales cycles and securing strategic partnerships
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building businesses and creating long-term value
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and excited by the opportunity to grow alongside an expanding organisation
