[Remote] Director / Senior Sales Director – Education Technology
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. VDart is seeking a tenured Sales Hunter to drive new business in the EdTech solutions and services space. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in end-to-end business development and a strong network within the education technology ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Prospect, qualify, propose, negotiate, and close opportunities in EdTech solutions and services
- Build relationships with CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Digital Learning, Academic Directors, and decision-makers in education institutions
- Partner with internal sales teams and delivery units to cross-sell EdTech offerings into new opportunities
- Leverage prior network and rolodex to establish new accounts and expand existing ones across higher education, K-12, and corporate learning
- Deliver quarterly sales quotas, maintain accurate forecasts, and ensure recognized revenue
- Meet and exceed quarterly revenue targets
- Accurately forecast pipeline and deal closures
- Acquire new customer logos in the EdTech sector
- Ensure customer expectations align with delivery capabilities
Skills
- Experience: ~15 years in enterprise software/IT services sales, with exposure to EdTech solutions
- Expertise: Proven success in selling digital learning platforms, content delivery solutions, and AI-driven education tools
- Track Record: Strong history of acquiring new customer logos and executing successful sales strategies
- Skills: Analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities; adept at synthesizing complex technical and business issues
- Industry Knowledge: Awareness of education sector trends, digital transformation in learning, and emerging business models
- Executive Presence: Comfortable engaging with CXOs and academic leaders, articulating solutions at a strategic level
